Re: Issues and mechanisms that need attention

Date:2/15/24

I am writing to address a recurring issue in the power supply units in our pre-built lineups and I would like to introduce strategies for improvements. Over the past months there has been an extreme amount of reports concerning malfunctions in our PSU. This has not only impacted customer satisfaction but alternatively hurting the image of the brand. I’d recommend focusing on Component selection going forward . We need to focus on higher quality capacitors and transistors as I believe this is the main cause of the shortage. Exploring the adoption of the advanced capacitor technologies, like polymer capacitors which introduce superior performance and durability. I believe our current transistors need to be upgraded in quality since it seems the problem has to do with the regulation of voltage going into the PSU. I’d suggest we replace our current transistors with lower leakage currents and higher breakdown voltages. As a department I think we should be accustomed to regularly conducting reliability testing to ensure the quality of our product is to the highest degree. I’d suggest putting our power supplies through abnormal stress tests to ensure it can handle anything the user will throw at it. Finally a user guide with a step by step breakdown on how to properly take care of the PSU including cleaning its ventilations, not unplugging the PSU while the computer is on and more. Improving the quality and reliability of our product is of the company’s best interest. By implementing these solutions I believe that we will see a sharp decline of user issues and in turn boost sales due to our updated reliability. Thank you for your attention on this issue. I look forward to recommendations and changes.

Sincerely,
